Elohim The Agency
Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or captions. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- The interview videos have captions (on by default) and a written transcript under each video.
- The looping video has a pause button, and it does not play by itself if your device is set to reduce motion. Other animations are switched off in that setting too.
- The whole site works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline, a “skip to content” link, and photo and profile windows that close with the Esc key.
- Text and buttons meet the WCAG contrast levels, and the page still works when text is enlarged to 200%.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and errors are explained in words and announced to screen readers.
We tested the site with automated checkers (axe, Lighthouse and Pa11y) on phone and desktop screen sizes, and checked it by hand with a keyboard. Automated tools can’t catch everything, so we keep reviewing it.
Known limitations
The interview captions and transcripts were made for this site and checked by hand; a word in a noisy moment may still be off. If you spot one, let us know.
Tell us if something is hard to use
